Pigs in a Blanket

I know this is not a new recipe to anyone, but it's become my favorite lately. It's easy, yummy & my kids ACTUALLY like it. Well, two of the 3 at least :)

These are all the ingredients you need to make this meal!
Crescent rolls & hot dogs.
I did buy 2 different types of hot dogs because my hubby gets tired of the Hebrew Nationals.

Simply take the crescent rolls, unroll them and cut them into 8 small rectangles.
I can get 16 from one tube of crescent rolls.

Cut hot dogs in half. Roll dough piece around hot dog and cook.

You're done! Eat!

*tip: I cook the hot dogs in the oven (about 400 degrees) before I roll them in the dough because we like them really cooked. I just do this step while I'm cutting up the dough.

  1. this is definitely one of my favorite recipes, too!
i like to cute the hot dogs upon and sprinkle some cheese in before rolling them up. :)

  2. I agree it's a staple around here, especially for summertime. They're easy to micro for lunch.
